Meet our New Staff Members |
We are very excited to introduce Dr. Jody Gibson, our newest addition to the engineering department!
Dr. Gibson brings a wealth of industry and education experience to the Energy community. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Soil Science from Clemson University and continued on to earn his Masters and PhD in Geosciences and Geology from Penn State University. Dr. Gibson is passionate about his work with today's youth and hopes that his students "will be experts in sustainability, particularly with respect to water, food, and energy resources. I really hope that the kids acquire a sense of respect for our place in the environment. I would also love it if they could break ground on novel, untested methods for creating biofuels. The sky is the limit!"
In addition to his interest in education, he is an avid traveler, visiting all 50 states and over 25 countries! To learn more about Dr. Gibson and his Environmental Engineering course visit Dr. Gibson's Weebly.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Gibson join us at Energy! His passion, interests, and expertise make him a perfect fit for Energy. Make sure you say hello and welcome him to our Energy family! |
