Meet our New Staff Members |
We are very excited to introduce our new Robotics and Computer Science teacher, Ms. Rachel Alexander!
Ms. Alexander joins us from Reagan High School, where she taught engineering and developed their successful robotics program. She attended Rice University, receiving her Bachelors of Science majoring in bioengineering. Ms. Alexander was a very accomplished engineering student. While attending Rice her team invented the BreathAlert neonatal apena monitor, which won many student design awards in 2012 and 2013, and is currently in development and licensing procedures to prepare for deployment to countries across Africa. In addition, she works as a coordinator for the Blue Stamp Engineering program in the summer.
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ms. Alexander loves to travel and has been to 38 of the United States and 5 continents.
We are very excited to have such a dedicated and accomplished teacher leading our first year of robotics! If you see Ms. Alexander in the hallway, be sure to welcome her to our Energy family and introduce yourself! |
