Our Student Spotlight this week features 9th grade student, Trisha Litong. Trisha received glowing nominations from three different teachers this week. She must be doing something right! Mr. McCommis nominated Trisha for her work in his Pre-AP Algebra 2 class. "She is very interested in math topics and how these concepts will apply to the next higher level math courses she takes. In addition, she is helpful to everyone in class." It is that helpfulness that Ms. Sola nominated Trisha for saying that, "Trisha is a committed and talented student who works hard and collaborates with classmates. She is always prepared and provides ideas to help other groups as well. She has empathy and cares for her classmates." In addition to her positive attitude and collaborative nature, Trisha produces exemplary work and goes the extra mile to make sure she is proud of everything she turns. Her outstanding work on her Oil Spills Technical Report is why Mr. Mendoza, her engineering teacher nominated her. Trisha also actively participates Tesla Club and Student Ambassador activities representing Energy proudly! Her involvement and dedication to the school are helping to create a great campus culture here at Energy! We are very proud of you Trisha!
