Summerfest Chief Marketing Officer John Boler Delivers Keynote Address

Boller will provide an overview on "Operating and Evolving Summerfest, "The World's Largest Music Festival", which will address Summerfest's Business Model, Apating to Customer Preferences, Instituting Operational Changes, Reinvesting in Quality and keeping Summerfest World-Class and Relevant.

Mr. Boler was hired by MWF's CEO in April of 2005 and brings over 25 years of experience and leadership in marketing communications and national event and entertainment marketing expertise to the organization.

 

As CMO of Summerfest "The World's Largest Music Festival", Mr. Boler is responsible for leading the company's marketing and sales strategy and managing an internal and external resources to achieve the organization's goals. Overseeing corporate sales, including 80 sponsorships and over 900 Business Group Sales accounts, seat licensing programs and vendor relationships, Mr. Boler's department generates and manages over $8 million in sponsorship revenue and directs $7 million in promotion with $1.5 million in paid consumer advertising and public relations plans annually. 

 

Throughout his eight year tenure at MWF, Mr. Boler helped direct approximately $60 million in redevelopment projects at Henry Maier Festival Park, including the BMO Harris Pavilion, Harley-Davidson Roadhouse and Miller Lite Oasis.  He developed Summerfest's social media channels, communicating regularly with over 200,000 fans and increased Summerfest.com's web traffic from 800,000 unique visitors in 2005 to now nearly 4.4 million, originating from over 185 countries annually.
