Lake County is proud to participate in the Veterans History Project, inviting veterans to visit the Waukegan Courthouse on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11, to record testimonials of their war experiences. Their typed transcripts will be housed at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. as part of the Nation's history. All Veteran Story opportunities have been reserved, however volunteers are still needed for this event. Call 847.377.3771 for more information.
