2015 Budget News
Forest Preserve District

The property tax levy for the 2015 budget will be $47,476,849, 2.4 million less than the prior year. A statutory maximum tax cap causes this reduction in levy.

Lake County                   

Our 2015 Lake County budget was just presented to the Lake County Board on October 10th. The proposed $502 million dollar budget is up 2.81% from 2014 and will be discussed in County Board Committees starting next week. Stay Tuned!
Lake County Municipal Vehicle and Equipment Auction, Oct. 25
The Lake County Municipal Vehicle and Equipment Auction will be held on Sat., Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. Items include: police cars, computers, office equip., bikes, and misc. items from Lake County and other local communities. For full details, visit the Obenauf Auctions website.
