On September 25, nearly 60 TUPE Site Coordinators, District Coordinators, and CCCOE TUPE staff gathered for our 5th annual countywide Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Site Coordinator training!
In addition to an orientation for our 35 new middle school, high school, and continuation/alternative school Site Coordinators, all participants enjoyed presentations on youth perceptions of tobacco and marijuana, e-cigarettes/vape pens, supporting LGBTQ+ youth, lessons learned from "seasoned" Site Coordinators, and recruiting students as peer educators.
