About AB 1266: Enacted on January 1, 2014, AB 1266 requires that a pupil be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil's records.

April is one of the adult allies for our county-wide Youth Health Coalition and an amazing advocate for drug prevention and adolescent health.
