ParticipACTION Teen Challenge Grants

 

$250-$1000 per school for an ongoing program or one time event

Apply today! Applications accepted until March 15th 

 

RBC After School Project Grants

 

Up to $40,000 available for after school projects.

Applications accepted until March 15th.

 

S'Cool Life D.R.E.A.M.S. Grants

$2,000,000 per year for Canadian elementary schools for drama, recreation, extra-curricular activities, arts, music or sports.
Applications accepted to May 15th, 2013.

WWF Canada Green CommUnity School Grants Program

 

$200,000 each year for Canadian elementary and secondary schools

Next intake spring 2013

 

Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds School Ground Greening Grants

 

$500-$3,500

DASH is pleased to announce that Project Coordinator Kari Lyster is returning full time. Many of our readers know Kari from her work with the Healthy Schools Network, and know that her dedication to her work and infectious laugh make her a pleasure to work with. For the last year, Kari has been working part time at DASH while pursuing her Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN).  Welcome back, Kari!

Each year, the BC Dairy Association produces free posters to support March nutrition month.

Available in French and English, this poster is FREE for educators, however a small shipping fee applies. To learn how you can order free posters for your classroom, read more here.

Dietitians of Canada Supports Teachers with Nutrition Month Resources

Nutrition Month provides schools with a great opportunity to celebrate healthy food. Action Schools! BC has created a series of Healthy Eating Pages that are designed to help schools provide an environment supportive of healthy eating.

Grants encourage innovative ways to get active

The next ParticipACTION Teen Challenge funding deadline is March 15th, 2013!

 

Community Host Organizations are eligible for funding of up to $250 to support a one-time event and up to $500 to support an ongoing program or challenge where youth are engaged in physical activity. To learn more or apply, click here.
