Appointments are available for anyone interested in learning more about the surgery, expected benefits and risks. We provide specialized evaluations so that individuals understand which symptoms will improve or not improve after surgery. Reflections from Dr. Monique Giroux
Dr. Giroux 2012 Reflections

It is important to take a moment to reflect on what we are grateful for as gratitude can help us deal with life's problems, find a sense of meaning, place, contentment and purpose even when dealing with setbacks. We have so much to be grateful for this holiday season. With hard work and determination throughout the year, our center went from a vision on paper to a clinic focused on better living for people with neurologic disease.

To lead a center that puts the person before the disease, to see the results when patients are empowered, to brighten a ray of hope, to truly make a difference in a person's well-being - for that I am grateful. Each person is an important member of the team and we could not have opened the center without a dedicated and compassionate team. Each member of our staff brings an empathic patient centered approach to care and commitment to making a difference. Meet our staff by taking a moment to by reading their own words and thoughts of gratitude this holiday season.

Happy Holidays from Sierra Farris, PA-C

New Beginnings

Starting a new medical clinic has taken some long days, hard work and persistent dedication to a vision that started almost a decade ago. Dr. Giroux and I have held steadfast to a dream to open a clinic that focuses on first class care in an empathic patient centered atmosphere. We planned every detail of our clinic based on the needs of the patients we serve. Our choice of colors, flooring, layout, equipment and the team stemmed from our mission to provide high quality care in a healing and thoughtful environment.

Our team and our patients fill the clinic with warmth, laughter and hope as we find every way possible to enhance the quality of life of every person that comes through our door. I am very grateful for the opportunity to bring compassion and expert care to the people of Colorado and surrounding states. I wish everyone a happy holiday season.

Have a Safe and Happy Holidays from Megan Hale, Medical Assistant
Medication Safety

When you have a lot of medications to keep up with, it can be tough to remember to bring an updated medicine list to your appointments. Providing your doctor with a current and up-to-date list of your medications enhances your safety and well-being.

I am working on a new medication wallet card for you to bring with you to your appointments at the center and anywhere else you may need a complete list of your medications. The card will be available in January. We are also implementing a medication safety system at the center for quality assurance to ensure we have your most up to date medication list in our electronic medical record. Medication accuracy is critical for your health and safety and is of utmost importance to us at the Movement & Neuroperformance Center. I wish all our patients and families a joyful, safe and happy holiday season.

Season of Gratitude from Meredith Roberts, Physical Therapist
Gratitude

Tis the season to reflect on all the things one is truly grateful for. I am so grateful to be a member of an excellent team of clinicians and support staff who truly embody our mission of providing empathetic care, empowered patients, and mindful healing. I am grateful for all of the smiling faces that walk through our doors to great us. I appreciate all of the shared stories, victories and daily triumphs you share with me. Thank you for all that you teach me on a daily basis. I wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season.

Happy Holidays from Celina Romero, Administrative Specialist
Expert Care from a Caring Staff
This time of year always brings to mind everything that I am thankful for. Starting a new position and helping open the center this August, has given me a new appreciation for life and my career. Coming to work really brings a smile to my face every day. Our patients have such a great outlook on life and great hope for what the future brings. Providing top quality patient care is our main focus at the center. I was recently told by one of our patients, "You all are a pleasure to work with and so easy to get along with. I walk into a smile every visit." Things like this make all the hard work that we all put in, more than worth it. I look forward to what the future has in store for our clinic and working with you all. Happy Holidays!

On behalf of the Movement & Neuroperformance Center of Colorado and our staff, we wish you a happy holiday and New Year!

Sincerely,
