Seven Sodium Myths for World Salt Awareness Week
February 29 - March 6, 2016

This year's campaign by the World Action of Salt and Health (WASH) has everyone on the look-out for hidden salt.

Hypertension Canada is taking part by busting seven sodium myths that sweep the issue of excessive sodium intake under the rug and make it difficult for governments and individuals to take action. Watch the video, visit our website hypertension.ca/en/sodium-myths to find out more sodium facts, and join in the conversation on twitter with the hashtag #EatLessSalt

The video goes hand-in-hand with N2's awareness website called It Starts With Me, which covers topics ranging from finding the best treatments to the broader social benefits of clinical trials, and provides patients with the resources they need to make informed decisions about clinical trial participation.
