In our eINFO September 2015 newsletter from earlier today, we shared some news that Dr. Janusz Kaczorowski was awarded Family Medicine Researcher of the Year. While this is true, it's old news... from 2013! If anything, our regrettable error shows how easy it is to be effusive about our members and volunteers, who are so frequently recognized that we must beg your forgiveness for mixing up their awards!
In the present day, we are delighted share the news that Dr. Kaczorowski will be recognized as one of the Top 20 Pioneers of Family Medicine Research in Canada by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and the Section of Researchers (SOR).
In addition, he has also been recognized as having one of the Twenty top papers to mark The BMJ's two digital decades and for Notable Achievement in Hypertension Reduction at the Population Level by the World Hypertension League.
Congratulations once again, and we apologize for the error.
Sincerely,
Hypertension Canada
