Hypertension Canada's expert volunteers called upon to train Saudi Arabian doctors
Congratulations to Directors Ross Feldman and Sheldon Tobe, with staff member Jocelyne Bellerive! This past April, they travelled to Dubai to deliver a workshop on the CHEP Recommendations and hypertension management to Saudi Arabian doctors. The event was highly rated by the 20 participants.

Health Canada has launched two new healthy eating tools for Canadians
The Eat Well Plate helps you follow Eating Well with Canada's Food Guide when planning and serving meals. The Plate shows food group proportions and encourages you to make half your plate vegetables and fruit.

We are looking for candidates who have experience or expertise in the following skill areas: - Researcher or clinician, in general medicine, pharmacy or nursing, knowledgeable in hypertension;
- Community and healthcare leadership;
- Health and healthcare professional education;
- Knowledge of health care systems;
- Experience in non-profit Board work and/or governance a strong asset.
The Board is responsible for managing the affairs of Hypertension Canada. It establishes policy, monitors activities and takes action to further Hypertension Canada's objectives. Find out more.
