A call for abstracts is now open. Registration begins May 1.

Join us October 22-24 in Toronto for the 5th Annual Canadian Hypertension Congress (CHC) . The CHC gathers key opinion leaders and showcases the latest research in hypertension. It is the only Canadian congress designed specifically to enable the development and exchange of evidence-based information on the pathobiology and management of hypertension. Our Primary Care Day on Friday, October 23 provides the latest updates on hypertension management and control for general practitioners, nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals. 

An Unsung Hypertension Hero Retires

On April 8th, 2015, Lianne Vardy will retire from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). Collaboration between PHAC and Hypertension Canada is a critical component of our success in measuring and improving health outcomes. Lianne's passion and team spirit are second to none. Throughout May, Hypertension Canada will promote World Hypertension Day, an initiative by the World Hypertension League to encourage the prevention and control of this silent killer.  Our campaign will include a social and traditional media campaign, with support from our corporate partners Servier Canada and Zona Health.
