Restaurant Menu Labelling
Is it worth adding sodium to the label?

With the push for nutrition labels on restaurant menus in full effect across Canada, provincial governments are looking at the best ways to encourage consumers to make healthy choices. A new study by two University of Toronto researchers has found that including sodium alongside calorie information results in even better choices than calorie labelling alone. Read more

The Fall 2014 issue of this free publication focused on dementia. The lead article on "Preventable Dementia" looks at the treatment implications of the strong link between cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension and diseases like Alzheimer's. More info
