- Registration and Housing will open early June.
- Registration: In order to qualify for the reduced registration rate, make sure your membership is active and have your Hypertension Canada membership number on hand.

2013 Hypertension Canada Recognition Award Nominations
Deadline - May 10, 2013
- Each year, at the Congress, Hypertension Canada Recognition Awards are presented to individuals and organizations contributing to Canada's success of having the lowest prevalence rates for hypertension in the developed world and the highest awareness, treatment and control. Submit a nomination to recognize individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to this effort.

Loblaw DRUGStore Pharmacies Blood Pressure Check Program
For the second year, Hypertension Canada is proud to partner with Loblaw DRUGStore pharmacies to assist the public in understanding their blood pressure.
On March 2nd over 5,000 customers participated in a special one-day event highlighting the Blood Pressure Check Program. The program will be offered again on March 20th, 2013 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. The Blood Pressure Check Program is also available on an ongoing basis and no appointment is required.
Loblaw DRUGStore pharmacists will have customers check their blood pressure using the in-store machine and then provide a personalized consultation to assist customers in "understanding what their numbers mean". They will also give information on recommended daily intake of sodium and how it can affect blood pressure and heart health. To read more, click here.
