Greetings!
"Where do you live?" "Chatham." If we are talking to someone outside the area, we might say "Springfield." This is our community. It is where we live, shop, send our kids to school. What happens here affects us. Over the next few weeks, I want to talk about what it means to be in a community. What does it mean to live in community? What are our responsibilities to one another and to the whole community? God invites us to live in community with one another. Our CPC congregation is a community of faith. Can that community help us think about how we live with each other and care for each other? Come to Worship and allow your faith in Jesus to inform how we live with one another both in the church and in our communities. August 7: Our Faith Community. Acts 2:37-47 August 14: One For All, All For One. Matthew 25:31-46 August 21: What Is Your Role? 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 August 28: More Excellent Way.1 Corinthians 12:31-13:13
