Greetings!
How lucky are we? What an awesome VBS program last week. Over 70 kids running every which way in their family groups learning about Joseph in Egypt. From making bricks and jewelry to petting live animals -- all of it helped reinforce the Biblical story. And if that wasn't enough, our Frontline Youth Ministry is finishing their mission trip to Louisville, KY, this week. Kids having fun while helping out at a Presbyterian summer camp. Of course, there is also Clubhouse each Sunday morning and our monthly Clubhouse Sunday afternoon programs (in July it is a swim party!). God is not only good in sending so many children and youth for us to care for and deepen their faith, but He also has given us awesome adults to oversee all our ministries. Too many to mention, but I want to thank Laura for all her hard work on VBS and to Bonnie for heading up our Youth Mission Trip. And to everyone who have a part in everything we do for our kids and youth, I say a big, big THANK YOU! You all are great. We are blessed. And God is Good. All the Time.

New Orleans Mission Trip. On November 6-12, our CPC Adult Mission Trip of the Carpenter's Crew will take place in New Orleans. We will drive down on Sunday, work Monday - Friday and drive home on Friday. So far, we have about ten people. We would love to add more, so if you are interested, see Jim.There is an official registration form on the mission wall. The cost is only $100.00, which includes travel and most meals. And that week in November, many people already have Monday and Tuesday as holidays, so you only need to add three more. If you can join us for only a few days, see Jim.

Summer Giving

Summers are traditionally a difficult time for churches financially. People head out for vacations and family gatherings. We ask you not to forget God's work that continues all summer here at CPC. Due to some trust fund payments being temporary delayed, the budget is tightening. Your help is greatly appreciated during this time.
