Greetings!
This is the time of the year we stop and think about all the blessings in our lives. From the necessities in life, to family, to friends, and so much more. Those blessings also extend to our faith and our wonderful Community of Faith. God's love for us in Jesus is certainly at the top of our list of things we are thankful for in our lives. This wonderful Chatham Presbyterian Church is right there as well. Here are just a few of the blessings here at CPC:
- Bringing Bonnie on as our Youth Director
- A balanced budget for 2015
- The new Food Pantry Garden ready to go next spring
- An increase in Mission giving by more than $20,000.00
- Our new Club House Sunday Afternoon Events
- Wonderful Worship Celebrations that lift our spirits and deepen our faith
This list could go on and on. What would you add? I invite you to be in prayer, giving thanks for all God's amazing blessings in your life and here at CPC. I give thanks for every one of you and the love and devotion you bring to God and to this church.
Jim

With the blessings from last year's Stewardship Campaign, our finances are solid. When was the last time you heard that at CPC? As we turn our attention to the 2016 year, we want to ask you to do three things as you consider your response to God:
- Make a pledge. Yes, we move forward on faith. Yet it is very hard to formulate a budget not knowing what might be offered to God's work through CPC. If everyone makes a commitment, the budgeting process becomes easier.
- Consider adding 4% to your 2015 giving. We want to adjust several items including adding some new budget lines for ongoing and newer programs. If everyone increased giving by 4% or more, we will continue to have a balanced budget.
- Pray. We ask you to give based not on the needs of CPC, but on how God has blessed you and your desire to respond. Please pray for yourself, for our church, and for God to lead you in your giving. Biblically, we are challenged to tithe our blessing back to God.
You will receive an envelope in the mail with additional information and a pledge card. On Sunday, November 22, we ask everyone to bring your pledge so we, as a blessed congregation, can make our response to God's love in our lives and in our church. We'll celebrate afterwards with an All-Church Potluck followed by Hanging of the Greens.

Office Project: Electric is nearly finished; heating with a new furnace began this week. Soon, the drywall will be installed and finished. After that, we will be able to paint, install the interior doors and do the finishing touches before carpet is laid. Stay tuned for when we'll need additional help.
The Loft for our youth program is moving forward. The stage and walls are going in along with the sound area, lift and much more. The students are growing excited about this new area to support our Youth Ministry. "Fund the Furniture." With the remodel nearly finished, we need to purchase some furniture. Though we will use much or all of our current office items, we need to add some new items. And we want to make The Loft for our youth a comfortable area, too. We invite the congregation to help "Fund the Furniture" with a monetary donation. More details coming over the next few weeks.
Finally, the Food Pantry Garden is mostly complete, with a few items to be completed next spring. Many thanks to all who dedicated time and effort to make this project come to life.
