Greetings!
I have learned so much during the Audacious Prayer series! God is so trustworthy. Too many times I don't go where He desires simply because I don't ask and I don't believe. Let's all continue to draw circles, trusting God for the things in life we simply won't realize without His hand.
I am also looking forward to upcoming sermons this fall. On September 1st and 8th, we will finish up the prayer series with a sermon on the 8th titled "Praying Forgiveness." Then I am going to give two sermons on the the church called "Church Alive."
Then beginning September 29th, I will begin a new 6-week series that I am simply calling "Promises" that will look at the awesome works that God delivers in our lives. I can't wait!
Pray for the PNC: The Pastor Nominating Committee has been working hard, and they have received the green light from the Presbytery. We will start receiving resumes from interested candidates for the Senior Pastor position here at CPC. Will you keep them in your daily prayers for wisdom and discernment as they begin the process of looking at candidates? These are exciting times!
Your Pastor for now,
Ken
