Issue 15
Greetings!

As we begin our summer here at CPC, help me welcome two new college students to our ministry team: Alicia Alexander, who attends Samford College and Nick Bifano who attends Greenville College will be here working with our student ministry for the summer.

Please be in prayer for them as they lead. I really look forward to the giftedness both these folks will bring to this ministry and the great things that will happen by them being with us.

childpraying Also, let's all commit to continue to be in earnest prayer for the Pastor Nominating Committee as they work toward bringing potential pastoral candidates to CPC for consideration. Ask Christ to give them wisdom, discernment and knowledge as they go through the necessary steps towards bringing God's right person here at the right time.

Also, as you take your family vacation, please consider sending your tithe to the church office or making it up when you return. Our ministries and expenses continue throughout the summer.

Have a super summer, and know that we are here for you. If you need anything, feel free to give me or any of the ministry personnel a call.

Love Serving You,

In His Grip,

Ken Macken

Kids Good Grief Camp

A BIG HUGE THANK YOU!

Crossroads Counseling Center wants to give a huge thank you to all of our CPC youth group kids who helped with

Kids Good Grief Camp this year. We were impressed with their sensitivity and kindness. It takes a special kid to be able to be goofy and fun when it's time, and also to be gentle and sweet when working with kids who have lost a loved one. Everyone wants to know where we found these great kids to help? We are always proud to say, Chatham Presbyterian Church's Frontline Youth Group! Thanks so much for sharing your time and talents with these kids who are hurting. Ben Lex, Michael Page, Addy Moorehead, Alex Bifano, Jacob Richardson, Samantha Biel and Brendon Moorehead--you are the greatest!

Youth Group Senior High From Brian Durbin: I want to thank all who participated in my going away party last Sunday night. It was a blessing to see the pictures from different Frontline events, to meet some of our parents, and of course be with my students. Also, it was AWESOME to sit back last night and watch the worship team come together and praise Jesus! My, how things have changed in just a few years and I know God's blessings will continue with you all as you move forward.
