Issue 13

Greetings!

ball and chain "Unchained!" Don't miss a Sunday in April as we are going to become "unchained." This 4-week series will examine areas where Christians remain in bondage.  Friends, Christ has set us free to become so much more in this life, and yet many times we miss what He meant to be a blessing because of our areas of bondage. I can't wait to free my spirit through Christ, and I hope you will join us.

chocolate chip cookies Cookie and High Attendance Sunday: I'm also excited about this new opportunity.  On the last Sunday of April, the 28th, please bring cookies for a time of fellowship right after the service. We will have tables set up for you to sit down with cookies, coffee, and lemonade for a relaxing time of fellowship.  Feel free to leave for the rest of your day's activities when you are ready.

You are CPC, and I love serving you for this season!

Also, we are shooting for a High Attendance Day (how amazing was Easter Sunday?) so we are asking you to invite someone who is not currently attending church anywhere or who is looking for a church family. Let's shoot for 278 on the 28th!

In His Grip,

Ken Macken

GIVING KIOSK UPDATE

There is a letter going out to regular kiosk users this week.  We average just under $2,000 in giving at the kiosk a month, and we pay $150 plus additional fees to maintain the machine.

While we know the kiosk is convenient, it is not "paying its way" currently.  Sunday,April 28th will be the last day the kiosk will be available for those transactions.  We encourage kiosk users to utilize our ACH checking account withdrawal program.  Contact Matt Nixon or Jack Carder for additional information on ACH withdrawals.
