Greetings!
Be sure to join us this month as we begin a 6-week series called "Life in the Lion's Den" - how to live a life of success from the pit! Tomorrow, we kick off the series in Daniel 6 with The High Cost of Disobedience.
Don't forget to join us for the Souper Bowl Cook-off and Game tomorrow afternoon, starting at 5:30 p.m. We'll have the game on a big screen. If you aren't bringing soup or chili for the contest, be sure to bring in some munchies, chips or snacks. Invite a friend or neighbor for some great fellowship! Questions about what to bring? There's still time to contact Carolyn Brown at 414-0078.
We look forward to a great month at CPC. Come join us, and be sure to invite someone to come with you to church. You will be blessed, and so will they.
In His Grip,
Ken

Meets & Eats 2013
This is a fun and delicious way to get to know your CPC family! The
Meets & Eats groups will meet 5 times throughout 2013 starting with a

You'll meet several new people because the dinner groups change from month to month. Need more information? Contact Sara Metzger at 430-7374.
Anyone interested in being a part of Meets & Eats this year is invited to attend a potluck on Saturday, February 9th at 5:30 p.m. in Olsen Hall. Burgers, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Please bring a dish to share with everyone. We will spend the evening enjoying food and fellowship. Just a reminder: this is an adults only event. Thank You's
A note from the family of Nan Hendricks:
"Thank you so much for the cut flowers at the funeral. Also, thank you for the love and support that you have shown both my mom and dad during this difficult time. They have both told me of the wonderful people at Chatham Presbyterian, and I'm sure my dad will continue to stay connected to your fellowship."
From the Ball Chatham Food Pantry
"Just a note to say thank you to all the CPC members that answered our call for help on December 19th. Thanks to the great volunteers, we were able to get what appeared to be a ton of food (maybe literally) sorted and stocked for distribution. There is no way that we could done it without their help! We really do appreciate the support and assistance the church shows this local ministry. Thanks again for being there for us."
January Offering
was $20,574.
Projected offering for January 2013 was $26,000.
2012 Giving Statements

Per Capita is Due
If you haven't already done so, please send in your $28 per member due to the church. The Presbytery has been a diligent resource for CPC, and we don't want to be on their "deadbeat" list. We appreciate it!
