Issue 10

Greetings!

Christmas program As I write this article, I am waiting for some friends to come to our home for a New Year's Eve Party. I sit in the warmth of our home and have my wife and son with me and our two cats, "Grey Boy" and "Yeller." I'm led to think that 2012 is soon over and the new days of 2013 are upon us! In thinking about 2012, I am overwhelmed again with the goodness of our Lord. We have been blessed in so many ways. One blessing He has granted me in 2012 and will overflow into 2013 is the opportunity to do my most favorite ministry...be the interim pastor for a local church.

I am thanking the Lord for the time I am getting to spend with Chatham Presbyterian Church and lead you as your "pastor for now"! I am optimistic for what the Lord has in store for this church in 2013. Let's do all we can in this new year to grow in fellowship with each other, grow in discipleship with the Lord, and grow towards a deeper in desire to see others come to Christ this new year.

Have an awesome 2013!

Pastor Ken

First Place for Health NEW BIBLE STUDY STARTING:
JANUARY 7, 2013

First Place 4 Health - "God's Best for Your Life" begins Monday, January 7, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. The 12-week study will
help you delve into God's Word as your guidebook for living a life that glorifies Him. Perhaps at some point in your life you have wondered how you can truly know God's will in the circumstances you encounter. You desire to live a life pleasing to God, but how do you know for sure what that means in your situation?

And what is God's plan for your life? Drawing on principles from the book of Ruth, this study will show you how to know God's best for your physical life, your spiritual life, your circumstances, your "waiting rooms," your appearance, your attitude, your finances, your daily life, your service and ministry and your future. All that is required to know God's best for every aspect of your life is a sincere desire to seek His will and accept what He reveals.
