Greetings!
We are pleased to officially welcome Pastor Ken Macken to the CPC monthly newsletter in this space. Ken will be serving as our Interim Pastor. Enjoy his "News from Pastor Ken" here. Glad to be at Chatham Presbyterian Church: I am thrilled and humbled to be serving as the Interim Pastor at CPC. I have a real sense that this is where God wanted me, and I am so ready to see Him do some incredible things within this congregation! I love seeing the great things the Lord is doing in each and every ministry at Chatham Presbyterian! This church is full of wonderful people with amazing God-given gifted-ness. The Goal: As we move forward in the days ahead, we will do everything we can to achieve deeper congregational health and build positive forward momentum. God has called us to be about making disciples, and we are at our best when we are doing exactly that. This will guide our every decision as we move forward! Our Invitation: It is so important for everyone to move forward at this point with their church attendance and involvement! If you have not been to Chatham Presbyterian for a while, and if you have not become involved with another church, we welcome you to come back and be involved with your church family. We firmly believe that the best days for our church lie ahead, and we would love for you to be a part of our fellowship. In the near future, we will be working on our annual church membership rolls as we prepare our annual report to the Presbytery. I will be sending out a letter soon to help us evaluate our membership numbers. Thank you in advance for updating us on your standing in regards to church attendance. In His Grip, Pastor Ken Macken |
