Bon Secours Virginia Again a Best Place to Work
 Bon Secours Virginia has again been named one of the 2015 Best Places to Work in Virginia. It is the fourth year in a row it has been recognized. Virginia Business magazine and Best Companies Group created the annual list that recognizes Bon Secours for providing employees with an exceptional workplace and positively impacting Virginia's economy, workforce and businesses.
Recognition Honors BSHSI's Work-Life Culture
The WorldatWork Alliance for Work-Life Progress this month named Bon Secours Health System Inc. a 2015 Work-Life Seal of Distinction Award winner
The award, to be presented March 18 in Nashville, honors companies nationwide that deliver innovative programs and create a culture of support for employees at work and at home. This recognition is BSHSI's first system-wide award honoring its work-life culture.

Help Support a Mission to Haiti

Each year, students and faculty provide care in Haiti.
|
Each year, the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing sends a team of nursing students and faculty members to rural Haiti. This week-long mission provides medical care, education and support to thousands of Haitians who don't have access to immediate care.
Help support this trip at a silent auction fundraiser, Jan. 30 from 6-9 p.m. at the College. The theme is "Setting Sail," and tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for those under 21 and $10 for students with valid ID.
To purchase tickets, make a donation or in-kind gift, please contact Haiti Mission team leaders Kathy Faw, Amy Fuerer or Christine Turner.

in Exceptional Care
University of Virginia Health System and Bon Secours Health System recently signed an agreement that will lead to new patient care partnerships in cardiovascular services, cancer, physician recruitment, population health, patient safety and undergraduate and graduate medical education.

 Bon Secours Hampton Roads recently released its 2014 Community Benefits Report.
The report notes that during fiscal year 2014, Bon Secours Hampton Roads provided more than $62,563,000 in uncompensated care and other benefits to the Hampton Roads community.

Do You Know Individuals
Who Need Health Insurance?
The federal Affordable Care Act helps make affordable health insurance coverage available to all Americans via an online health care marketplace. Each year there is an enrollment  period when individuals can buy coverage. Tax credits and subsidies also are available.
Bon Secours Health System is involved with other community organizations to provide community outreach to help people better understand their options and to sign up for this health care coverage. Enrollment is available until Feb. 15.
