Nobody's Perfect: What's New? Webinar

The Nobody's Perfect Parenting Program is a community-based health promotion parenting education and support program for parents of children aged birth to age five.


Program resources and training materials have recently undergone a thorough update in content and design.


 

Participants will of this webinar will learn the latest news on the status of the revisions, including highlights of content updates, as well as a potential release date and for these long awaited resources. The session will also provide information for those wanting to learn more about implementing the program.  The webinar takes place February 4 from 10:00 to 11:30 am PST.  


Who should attend: Those currently or previously involved in implementing Nobody's Perfect, and those interested in finding out more - including community programs, practitioners, and public health with an interest in promoting the health of vulnerable families with children aged 0-5 years. Funding Opportunity from the United Way

The United Way of the Central and South Okanagan Similkameen has now opened their Community Fund application cycle for the 2015-2016 year. Applications for funding of core operations and programs are available to any registered charities that are making an impact in the following areas:

  • Moving people from poverty to possibility
  • Helping children and youth be all they can be
  • Building strong communities

 

Professional Development workshop with Brian Russell: My Dad Matters

Join the fathering engagement community for this free train the trainer workshop for My Dad Matter's Tool Kit.The Tool Kit and lunch are provided. This training event will guide in the development a Father involvement action plan that can to be implemented immediately. February19 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Kelowna location still to be determined.
