O Jesus Christ,
Thy Manger Is

We hope you will take some time this weekend to find rest for your souls as the Word is welcomed with praise and adoration at the annual MLC Christmas concerts (Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 4:00). An open house at the new Early Childhood Learning Center will precede each concert, and all attendees are invited to join us for complimentary cookies and coffee in the Luther Student Center following the concerts. Can't come? Join us live online or watch the archived concert at your leisure on MLC-TV.

Time and Talents

Looking for an opportunity to give back to your alma mater? MLC and WELS Kingdom Workers are considering an exciting partnership project for the summer of 2014. The Chapel of the Christ's basement has remained entirely unfinished since its opening in 2010. Lord willing, an elevator will soon be installed and a "fellowship hall" space for large-group gatherings will be built below the narthex. This is where we need your help! Before we can move forward, we need to determine whether enough volunteer manpower would be available. If your heart enjoys giving with your hands, please click here to learn more and take a brief survey to let us know how and when you may be able to help.

Treasure

If you cannot help with the project noted above, perhaps you can be like faithful Aaron and express your love and support for MLC's ministry through a financial gift. The MLC Alumni Association recently launched a new program called Aaron's Arms. The goal is to uplift MLC with sustaining support for student scholarships and campus/classroom enhancements. With nearly 10,000 alumni, a large number of modest gifts can make a major difference. If you appreciate the training you received and believe in the current mission and ministry of MLC, please stand with us and give in keeping with the blessings you've received. Click here to learn more about Aaron's Arms or to make a gift.

Their Time to Tour

The MLC College Choir's annual spring tour (February 28-March 7) will take them to the sunny Southeast, with stops in Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. Click here to see the full itinerary, and plan to attend a concert near you if possible. A final concert will be held at MLC's Chapel of the Christ on Sunday, March 23, at 3 pm and will be broadcast live and archived on MLC-TV. You can also travel with the choir virtually by following daily posts (including video recordings of selected songs) on the MLC Facebook page.

Your Time to Tour

Lord willing, the MLC Alumni Tour will depart from New Ulm on July 22 for a nine-day excursion to some of the most scenic spots in the United States. Highlights will include Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Devils Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Roosevelt National Parks. Christian companions and daily devotions (led by Prof. Lyle Lange) make these tours extra special. Click here to view a brochure, register online, or print a form to send in and save your spot. Don't delay, as the tour is already over half full and will soon sell out!
