Adopt-an-Area
Local alumni, are you interested in helping maintain our beautiful campus? A new program is beginning this spring whereby individuals and groups can adopt a space on campus and help maintain it through the growing season. Contact Heidi at 507-354-8221 x 260 to learn more.
Breaking Ground

God be praised! Thanks to the many Spirit-led gifts from God's people, the Let the Children Come capital campaign has been blessed with over $2.5 million and, Lord willing, the highly anticipated Early Childhood Learning Center will begin construction in just over a month. MLC thanks you for your ongoing prayers and gifts and invites you to attend the Groundbreaking Service and Ceremony on Saturday, April 6, at 10AM. An additional $730K is still needed to reach the building goal, and over $200K in a dollar-for-dollar match is available through June or until the dollars are received. Click here if you'd like to support this project with an online gift. The building is slated for completion in time for the fall semester with a dedication service date still to be determined.

Dinner and a Concert

Please join us for the annual alumni dinner and commencement concert on Friday, May 17. As in the past, this year's event will facilitate fellowship with friends new and old. It will also provide presentations on new programs at the college and updates on alumni association activities. The event kicks off at 4PM in the Cafeteria Conference Center and concludes with the evening concert at 7:30PM. Click here to RSVP online or call 507-354-8221 x 387 to reserve your space by phone. Cost is just $5 and includes a cafeteria meal.

       MLPS 1983  June 28-30

         MLA 1973 August 3-4
           DMLC 1963 - TBD

Alumni Association Adopts Campus Projects

The Martin Luther College Alumni Association has taken on two non-budgeted campus projects and renewed its commitment to support current students with financial assistance. The familiar Martin Luther statue, a 1995 gift from the NWC Board of Control, is "going green" and experiencing some oxidation issues after 18 years. A special cleaning and restoration process is necessary to help our friend restore and maintain his youthful appearance. A second project will transform a cove in the cafeteria into an "Applebees-esque" sports bar setting, complete with letter sweaters, jerseys, photos, and other memorabilia from NWC, DMLC, and MLC. Each project will cost approximately $1000. Watch for more information on how you can contribute or click here to donate now.

Wind Symphony Coming Your Way?

This year's Wind Symphony tour itinerary will, Lord willing, take them through the Midwest and to their first international destination (OK, it's Canada). Stops are planned in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ontario. Click here to view the full itinerary and plan to attend a concert near you. If distance prevents you from coming in person, tune in to MLC-TV where you can view their April 13 presentation live or at your leisure via our web-stream.
