Come, Adore Him

Martin Luther College's highly anticipated  Christmas concerts are coming up this Saturday, December 8, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 9, at 4:00 pm. Join us as we open the Advent season with a musical celebration of Jesus' birth. Four choirs, Wind Symphony, and Handbell Choir will proclaim the good news of salvation in two identical concerts. Light refreshments will be served in the Luther Student Center after each concert. The concerts will also be broadcast on MLC-TV.

Are You California Dreaming?

Need something to get you through winter's gloom and cold? How about making plans to join fellow alumni, WELS members, and Prof. Earl Heidtke June 10-21 on the 5th annual MLC Alumni Tour? Lord willing, this year's trip will take us to the sunny Southwest, where we'll visit sites and enjoy sunsets in San Diego. We'll travel up the coast through Malibu to the quaint Danish village of Solvang. From there, we'll visit the wine country, tour a Spanish mission and a Malibu mansion, then head to Hollywood. After a weekend of sightseeing and WELS worship, it's on to Vegas for two days of relaxing at an award-winning resort. We conclude our tour gazing upon God's grandeur at the gorgeous Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater Volcano, and the spectacular red rocks of Sedona. Combine all that with non-stop flights, comfortable accommodations, deluxe coach transport, daily devotions, and the fellowship of your faith-family and you're sure to make memories that last a lifetime. Click here for details or contact the alumni office for a brochure.

Yearbooks and MLC Publications Now Online!

Whether your yearbook was the DMLC Excelsior ('50-'95), the NWC Mnema ('70-'90), or the MLC Shield ('96-'06), you can now relive your college years online at MLC's new publications website. In addition to yearbooks, the site will soon contain archived copies of MLC InFocus and MLC Knightwatch. The site is a work in progress so if a yearbook or magazine is missing, please be patient and we'll have it up shortly!

You Don't Have to Be Perfect!

The DMLHS Rams basketball team of 1962-63 experienced a rare occurrence in sports, an undefeated 19-0 season. Fifty years later, team members reunited here on the hill to renew friendships and enjoy Christian fellowship. How about you? Maybe you never had a perfect sports season, but we'd love to have you gather a group of friends from your time here, come back, and spend a day or two with us. Organizing a "mini-reunion" isn't rocket science. Just phone some friends, pick some possible dates, and contact the alumni office for assistance in getting your gathering going.

Pictured in the shape of a "19" is the team, then and now. Click on the picture to learn more about these alumni and their special season.

College Choir Coming Your Way?
