MLC Ladies' Auxiliary Spring Meeting season is just around the corner. The state of Minnesota is divided into nine areas, and congregations take turns hosting an area spring meeting. This year, attendees will hear from MLC President Mark Zarling and Early Childhood Lead Teacher Jennifer Mehlberg, as well as a number of MLC students - all through a special video project made specifically for Ladies' Auxiliary. If your congregation would like to sponsor an Auxiliary meeting for your area outside Minnesota, contact us. See the schedule for area meetings held in Minnesota this spring. |
Bingo Night Is a Favorite among Students

The MLC Ladies' Auxiliary works hard to support students and faculty at our WELS College of Ministry. Often though, it doesn't feel like work. That's especially true of our annual Bingo Night. For the last two years, Auxiliary members have donated items for this fun event. The prizes range from cash to gift cards to homemade baked goods. The organizers even squeeze in a little trivia about the Ladies' Auxiliary between games. If you would like to send a donation for Bingo Night to be held on Friday, March 30, write "Bingo" on the envelope and mail it to MLC c/o Professor Bill Pekrul. Auxiliary Projects Off to a Good Start

In the past 50+ years, the MLC Ladies' Auxiliary has donated over $400,000 toward scholarships, classroom materials, dorm renovations, and outreach activities. Auxiliary projects for 2012 total over $17,000. We are so thankful for the wonderful generosity of all the congregations, ladies' groups, and individual donors. Gifts this year have already exceeded $9,000! If you would like to contribute to our projects or even adopt a project yourself, make checks out to MLC and mail it c/o Ladies' Auxiliary.
