Sign up now for graduate courses beginning June 11. Graduate student priority ends May 21. Courses often fill early. Don't be left out of the courses you need. Register here.  
 
Graduation Application Deadline April 1 
 
Those planning to graduate May 19 must submit the application for graduation to the Graduate Studies office by April 1. All students who have completed their degree requirements and wish to graduate must complete an application and pay the graduation fee. Applications are available here.

WELS teachers today have opportunities for professional growth that previous WELS teachers did not. At one time, many WELS teachers longed for a degree program where everything they learned applied directly to what they did. They wanted to learn from and with other WELS teachers who understood their ministry. But until recently, the thought of such a learning community of WELS teachers seemed unattainable. In 2009, after 25 years of elementary school administration, Kurt Rosenbaum was called to a different kind of ministry: principal of Arizona Lutheran Academy. Fortunately, the change did not interrupt his pursuit of his master's degree through MLC. And he was pleased to find that the skills and competencies he gained from his coursework in the leadership emphasis transferred seamlessly from a K-8 school to a 9-12 school and from a single-parish ministry to a federation of parishes. The WELS Commission on Lutheran Schools is hosting a National School Leadership Conference (NSLC) June 25 - 28 for WELS principals, ECM directors, teachers, pastors, and all school leaders. MLC's Graduate Studies is one of the conference sponsors and will be the premier sponsor of the Wednesday night cookout!
