OHHN News

Legislative Lead Study Group

The Ohio Healthy Homes Network (OHHN) has been working with a Senate sponsor since November 2016 to draft legislation to create a legislative lead study group for the purpose of reviewing, updating and improving Ohio's lead law. OHHN would like to see Ohio move towards a lead safe housing standard to protect children from lead exposure and lead poisoning. OHHN is currently contacting key stakeholders to secure their participation in the study group. To date, 20 organizations have agreed to be named to the study group in the legislation.
