Legislative Lead Study Group

The Ohio Healthy Homes Network (OHHN) is working with a Senate sponsor to draft legislation to create a legislative lead study group for the purpose of rewriting the state's lead law.  OHHN would like to see Ohio move towards a lead safe housing standard to protect children from lead exposure and lead poisoning. If legislation were approved, the study group would meet for one year to review the current law and develop recommendations and draft legislation.
