Many thanks to those of you who took the time to respond to our fall survey. It provided us with much valuable information to guide our work going forward. If you wrote a comment that needs a personal reply, we will be getting back to you soon.

What we learned about giving habits . . .
We often wonder if we are simply connecting to like-minded people or making a difference in our members'

giving habits.
The good news is that 73% of respondents reported that their connection to Global Grandmothers has increased their giving to children in need. Similarly, 67% reported that they look at our vetted charities with some frequency.

What we learned about Linked Giving . . .
Most respondents (83%) value the concept of Linked Giving, giving to a child in need when you give to someone you love, but a lot fewer practice it (61%). Comments ranged from those who love it to those who find it cumbersome or demanding.  We believe that Linked Giving is a tool to use as you see fit-- giving generously and strategically is the ultimate goal.

Areas for improvement . . .
Several areas for improvement surfaced from the survey.   The most common was the need for support to members outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. We will be looking at how we can help members form local chapters elsewhere.

The future . . .
Moving forward, we want to expand our membership, enhance our website, and make giving easier for you.  Even though we are a volunteer-based organization, there are costs associated with our work.  To continue to grow, we will be asking for donations for Global Grandmothers' expenses in an annual February "Share the Love" fundraising campaign.  More information will be coming your way in the days to come.

Thank you again for taking time to respond to the survey. You can view the full results by clicking here.

Sincerely,
