These are some of the kids who are served by the Nepal Youth Foundation  (NYF), a GG recommended charity and the amazing organization started by Sausalito attorney and grandmother Olga Murray. 

For 25 years NYF has been in the forefront of change for Nepali children. 

• By leading the way to eradicate the Kamlari system, in which rural families sold their daughters, a practice now outlawed;
• By providing the J and K Houses, home for almost 80 Nepali children who have no other shelter, and school scholarships for many more; and
• By pioneering the nutritional rehabilitation program, a 3-4 week residential respite and training where mothers learn to make nutritional, thrifty meals for their families while their malnourished infants and young children grow healthy.

Now, as the one year anniversary of the Nepal earthquake nears, we want to provide a boost to these fabulous programs which help so many children.
