You may have read Kate's recent Global Gram on the ongoing refugee crisis.

The numbers in themselves are staggering

• 500,000 people had crossed the Mediterranean by mid-September in 2015.
• 20% of the refugees are children, many unaccompanied.  That is heart-stopping.
• Save the Children provides these kids showers, beds, food, and counseling. 

So far, Global Grandmothers has raised more than $1000 for Save the Children's Child Refugee Crisis Relief Fund but we want to do more.
