Have you been binging on movies in the last month the way I have? Nothing puts you in someone else's skin like a movie.

Here's one enlightening film you can see without leaving your couch.  NIcholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn have created a documentary, A Path Appears, based on their book of the same title.
A Path Appears airs on PBS in a 3-part Monday night series beginning January 26.The film puts you in touch with the moving stories and inspired assistance described in the book as only a visual can do.  Kristof and WuDunn, with actor/advocates like Ashley Judd and Mia Farrow, take us to Columbia, Haiti, Kenya, and throughout the US to meet the book's characters up close and personal.  Watch below for a sample.    | | A Path Appears Official Trailer |
This Pulitzer prize-winning husband-wife team co-authored Half the Sky and Kristof writes an op-ed column for the New York Times. You may remember from an earlier Global Gram that the book is a great read - and touts Global Grandmothers as one innovative approach to making a difference (p. 258!).    "Hope is like a path in the countryside. Originally, there is nothing - but as people walk this way again and again, a path appears."

Thank you for joining us in 2015 to help create that path.     Diana McDonough President Global Grandmothers
