First, Happy Mother's Day!  There are few pleasures in life greater than having a mother, and being a mother - except maybe being a dad, but not having had that experience, I don't know for sure!  May you revel in those joys this weekend, and always.

And did you know that this week is also International Nursing Week - a perfect fit to my mind with mothering.  We have all felt that caring core that links nurses and mothers.  If you watch the PBS series Call the Midwife about nurses, women, and children in London's East End you see it.

You can experience that caring core all over again in the video below which celebrates the work of Partners In Health's team of nurses.  Partners In Health, and its amazing founder Dr. Paul Farmer,  pursue medical excellence on behalf of the world's poor with thrilling single-mindedness.

And if you take the quiz on women's health, Partners in Health will automatically receive 50 cents.

Thank you for sharing your caring with the world.
