We love Global Grandmothers -- and it feels especially right in the holiday season.  If holiday giving sometimes leaves you feeling empty, this is the organization for you!

 

Global Grandmothers links giving to our grandchildren with supporting children worldwide.    

 

When you join Global Grandmothers you pledge to give to an organization that supports children in need when you give to one of your grandchildren, or another child you know and love.  Global Grandmothers is not just for grandmothers!

 

Does this idea sound good to you?  If yes, please check out  the Global Grandmothers website, www.globalgrandmothers.org and join there.  Here is a sampling of what you will find:  

• Recommended charities, a tab on the home page that links you to charities vetted based on their effective support of children.  
• The Kids' Page which is a fun way to increase kids' global awareness and to involve them in giving.   Click here to see for yourself. 
• The Kid's Passport of Giving which you can print out to start keeping track of your GG charitable giving with your grandchild.  Find it on the "Kids' Page."  
  
• A Blog found on the last tab of the navigation bar.  You can make a comment by entering your name and email address.  We think this will become a valuable center for exchanging relevant information.
