Global-Gram
July 16, 2012

Greetings!

Diana McDonough
Do you remember why you became a Global Grandmother?
  • To embrace the concept of giving to a child in need when you give to your own grandchild?
  • To connect your grandchild with the larger world?
  • To join forces with other globally-minded women to make the world a better place for kids?

NOW, with our newly designed website, this is your chance to let others share in these benefits.   Send the email below to your family and friends to let them know about the Global Grandmothers movement and ask them to join you in linked giving.  Simply press the "Send to a Colleague" button at the bottom of this email, add a quick personal note from yourself, enter in the email addresses, and send away!

To make all of this easier, a second email with only the message below and the Global Gram heading will be sent.  Follow the directions above and watch us grow!

Hello Dear Family and Friends,

I joined the movement at Global Grandmothers and I hope you will too. Will you sign the pledge with me? It just takes a minute.

Global Grandmothers is an exciting group of globally-minded grandmothers who pledge to give to children in need when they give to children they know and love.  Global Grandmothers also has great ideas of how to involve your grand kids in giving.

Taking the pledge is the first step. Find it online at www.globalgrandmothers.org

Here are a few new & exciting features of the Global Grandmothers website:
  • iPad-friendly navigation!
  • A home page that explains who we are more clearly - a movement of grandmothers who share with children in need as they share with their own grandchildren.
  • A Blog found on the last tab of the navigation bar.  You can make a comment by entering your name and email address.  We think this will become a valuable center for exchanging relevant information.
  • The Kids' Page which is a fun, educational, and useful way to involve our grand kids in giving.   Click here to see for yourself.
    Global Grandmothers Passport of Giving
  • The Kid's Passport of Giving which you can print out to start keeping track of your GG charitable giving with your grandchild.  Find it on the "Kids' Page."
  • Recommended charities, a tab on the home page, that links you to charities vetted based on their effective support of children.

Please visit the site, www.globalgrandmothers.org.  We hope you join and will want to tell your friends.  You will find "Spread the Word" assists on the home page and under "Join the Movement."
