Board approves salary increases for non-union employee groups At a special meeting on Monday, June 13, the Glenbrook High School Board of Education approved annual salary increases for non-union employees, including non-certified support staff and administrators. The district agreed to provide salary increases for its non-union, non-certified support staff and all administrators that are consistent with the current union contracts of the Glenbrook Educational Support Staff Association (GESSA) and the Glenbrook Education Association (GEA) respectively. Non-certified support staff will receive an aggregate 2.85 percent increase and administrators will receive an aggregate 2.77 percent increase for the 2016-17 school year. Salary increases are inclusive of compensation related to any gained experience on the salary schedule (commonly referred to as STEP). "We feel these increases are equitable among our employee groups, consistent with previous years, and allow us to continue to attract and retain a high-quality staff for our students," said Assistant Superintendent Hillarie Siena. There are approximately 350 employees affected by these agreements.
