Chicago Youth in Music Festival recognition
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra honored six Glenbrook Instrumental students during the Chicago Youth in Music Festival: Benjamin Friedland, Ellie Kim, Alec Mawrence, Ki-Deok Park, Andria Radaios, and Marissa Takaki

National Anthem Performance
GBN senior Meg Ruocco was selected to perform the National Anthem for the IHSA State Final Girls Basketball Tournament in Redbird Area in Bloomington-Normal.  This noteworthy recognition came after numerous rounds of auditions, and is the only time a GBN student has been selected in (at least) the past 16 years.
