Close to 500 people dropped into a TEDMEDLive session during the three-day event here in ECHA. With a standing-room-only crowd, Food Fix proved to be one of the most popular sessions, thanks in no small part to the panel of local experts convened by the Faculty of ALES. Following the streamed talks, Dean Stan Blade lead a lively interactive discussion with special guests Rhonda Bell, Catherine Chan, Henry An, Gail Hall, Travis Kennedy and Dustin Bajer.

Earlier in the day, Catalysing Great Science inspired a discussion hosted by Academic Technologies' Mark Karstad, with Sandra Davidson (FoN), Joshua Lee and Tyler Verhaeghe. With 46 TED Talks in total, the week provided lots of inspiration. If you missed the sessions, you missed some great conversation. But it's not too late to gather colleagues and students for a TEDMED inspired get together; until December 18th you can stream any one of, or all eight sessions on demand at tedmedlive.org.

Student study spaces in ECHA
Did you know? student groups were involved in designing ECHA. That's one reason why there are lots of spaces in the building where students can study: silent, quiet and group areas!
If you find students looking for a good place to study, please direct them to Levels L1, 1 and 2.
The student study maps are linked in the right menu of the ECHA News, and are on the ECHA website.
