Apply by August 25 to share your idea and win a trip to the Berlin finale.

Do you have an innovative idea, research project, entrepreneurial or social initiative that could break down walls or improve society? If so, present it in 3 minutes to a distinguished panel of judges from academia, business and government at Falling Walls Lab UAlberta.

You could win a trip to the international finale in Berlin,  Nov. 8 2014, where you'll present your idea on an international stage.

Learn about, and from our
Nursing students this month

Nursing 409 students
have been busy developing booth displays to showcase Nursing Leadership & Practice. Nursing 409, (BScN after degree program) is for students who come to nursing with a recognized university degree in any field of study, and is offered both in Edmonton and in Camrose. The booth displays are part of their course requirement; students will be graded based on both public and nursing faculty member input. Please consider supporting these students by coming to view their displays and providing evaluation feedback. Download the poster here.

Nursing 406 students have been engaged in community clinical practice, assessing and working with their communities to determine what needs and resources exist in our Edmonton communities. They have been challenged to identify initiatives that would positively address the determinants of health influencing social issues within their community. See their results at a poster presentation event called Connecting the Dots.Download the poster here.
