Minor Flood in ECHA
On Sunday, November 11, a sprinkler head near the construction area on the second level of Edmonton Clinic Health Academy froze and burst. As a result, water flowed into the construction area itself, and downwards to Level 1 and Lower Level 1.
The areas affected include the south east entrance on Level 1, the Student Commons, the loading dock and several classrooms on the south end of Level 1 and on Level L1.
Clean up has begun in all areas, but affected classrooms will be closed until further notice. Classes affected by this will be notified by the Office of the Registrar; students should check Bear Tracks for scheduling changes.
We are working closely with the contractor to ensure the building is returned to normal just as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Nutrition Tip
No More TV Dining
Eating while watching television can influence the foods that we choose and not in a good way! In fact, TV dining has been linked to higher intakes of foods that are high in fat, sugar, salt and calories such as pizza, fast food meals and more. Make the most of your family's meals by "turning off," and "tuning in!" Sit together at the dinner table and chat as you enjoy a healthy, balanced meal. This will give you the chance to reconnect and may help to prevent over-eating. Reprinted from www.healthyalberta.com, courtesy of Alberta Health. |
