The mother of this 19-year-old disabled young lady says the father has had no contact with the daughter for several years but has now filed for custody to keep her and the daughter from moving to Haiti where the mother is opening an orphanage. Please contact Heather Bussey to help.

Client needs help filing a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
Client lost her job two years ago, stopped receiving unemployment benefits last year, and is now needing to file for bankruptcy. The client is looking for a job. Please contact Katrina Brown to help.

Client needs help with probate process
This client has guardianship in Michigan over her two adult cousins with disabilities and needs help transferring guardianship to Alabama where she lives now. The client has copies of all papers from Michigan as well as Alabama. Please contact Katrina Brown to help.

2016 - The year of the volunteer!
Start this new year off right by volunteering to meet with clients at one of our weekly help desks. First time volunteers are always welcome! Please sign-up for a two-hour time slot at a Help Desk held every Monday,Wednesday and Thursday or at a legal clinic at Pathways and Firehouse homeless shelters every Tuesday.
