Uncontested Divorces

Please contact Heather Bussey if you'd like to take a truly uncontested divorce case. These cases do not take a lot of time and are very basic. Generally, there are no custody/visitation issues or any property to divide. These are a great way to help a client that desperately needs an attorney to better their situation in life. If you've never done a divorce before, the BBVLP would be happy to assist you or pair you with a mentor.
BBVLP first quarter stats show volunteer attorneys providing better service

BBVLP volunteer attorneys saw 787 clients during the first quarter of 2015, which puts the BBVLP on track to do as well or better than 2014.

But the big story is that volunteer attorneys are providing better service to clients. Clients visiting one of the BBVLP's three weekly Help Desks are receiving a higher quality of service and more attorneys than ever are volunteering to take a case pro bono case from soup to nuts. 49 attorneys are currently representing BBVLP clients pro bono.

Also, the BBVLP is rejecting more cases than ever before for being over income. 60 clients were rejected for service by the BBVLP for being over income guidelines.
