Celebration of Flight

IBEX Puppetry returns to the Refuge the following day, Monday, Oct. 15, when Lee County schools are not in session. Its award-winning Celebration of Flight begins at 10 a.m. in the Education Center parking lot with a half-hour bird kite-making session and ends with an outdoor celebration.

Families will have a chance to learn about the creatures the actors portray and ask them about their work. A production underneath a tent will lead to the upper parking lot, where kids can try out their new kites and perform along with the puppeteers and kite-flyers. Click here learn more about IBEX's two-day Southwest Florida debut during "Ding" Darling Days.
