2014 SPE Thermoforming Conference

The 23rd Annual SPE Thermoforming Conference was recently held in Schaumburg, Illinois.  This event offers the most convenient and cost-effective way to learn about the industry and network with clients, vendors and industry leaders in one location. The theme for this year's conference was "Ideas Worth Forming."

Among the numerous speakers at the conference attendees heard from Christian Majgaard of Majgaard Brand & Business Development, who opened the conference with his keynote presentation, "Pathways to Growth-Better Pick the Ones That Work!"

The SPE Thermoforming Awards Dinner recognized many of the great leaders who have helped make the industry what it is today and also looked to the future of thermoforming by awarding scholarships. Paul Uphaus, the Commercial Development Manager for Primex Plastics, was awarded
Paul Uphaus
"Outstanding Board Member" of the
SPE Thermoforming Board division.

As a Sponsor and Technical Chair of the Conference Paul was fortunate to participate in the majority of the presentations. Paul was also in instrumental in organizing the various technical speakers for the conference and was present to show his support. Read his
